Chandra grahanam on Sharad Purnima

There will be a Total lunar eclipse or Sampurna Chandra grahanam on 8 October 2014


Geographic foot prints:

It will be visible in India, Asia, North America, South America, Australia and South Eastern Asia and many more places. The eclipse will also be visible in USA (United States of America), Canada, Mexico and all other parts of North America.

 
This rahanam  will occur on Ashwin Purnima/ Sharad Purnima. It occurs in Meena Rashi and Revati Nakshatra.

 
So it is recommended for the natives of Revati nakshatra, Aslesha Nakshatra & Jyeshta Nakshatra and other Meena rashi natives to not see this Chandra Grahan. It is also advised to perform ‘Ketu Puja’ after the eclipse.
